About the Press
who we are, and who we work for
People’s Press Philadelphia (PPP) is an outlet for working peoples’ culture and politics in Philadelphia. We seek to highlight how working people live, what they do, and what they think through print media.
As socialists, organizers, and worker-intellectuals, the editor-owners of the PPP co-op believe in connecting the daily lives of working people to the movement for a new way of living, across all of its various, fractured pieces. We believe that system is socialism–meeting the needs of humanity above those of profiteers– and hope that our project helps connect our class to be better agitated, educated, and organized to fight for that system.
